Time for a long relaxing soak...

.... with last weeks Craft Britannia shop of the week, which is the Natural Bathing Co.
I'm a little bit late this week, due to the craft fair I did in Cheadle (which was pretty fab & I'll be doing a review very soon!)

Onto the Natural Bathing co and her indulgent treats!

The bath treats she makes and sells in her Etsy shop look gorgeous and I really want to try some of her soaps and lip balms, which I think are ideal for any age or time of year.

For a relaxing bath, try her   Lavender & amber bath bomb
Lavender is one of my favorite fragrances, especially for a long
                       soak in the bath.

Sandalwood & vanilla soap this sounds like the type of fragrance my DH likes!

Very exotic and such a lovely colour, try her Dragonsblood soap

I'm very tempted by this Ginger lip balm & it sounds just the thing to use
if you're a little bit 'under the weather'.

To read the full interview, please go to the Craft Britannia blog.
You can visit the Natural bathing co shop here  (it's well worth a peek if you need a pampering session or quick gift!)

Just a quick ramble to say that next time, I'll be featuring Craft Britannia's team member Merry Go round UK. Which I'll try my best to post before the end of this week. I'm still frantically trying to catch up with myself, as it was 'all go' last week with my craft fair preparations. My craft room looks like it's been ransacked by a hoard of hyperactive crafters and I have my remaining stock to list on Etsy by Wednesday as I'm also taking part in CRAFTfest, the online event (which has trended on Twitter and had over 30,000 views so far (and it's only Monday!).

CRAFTfest June 2012

If you want to check out the stalls (over 175 of them), please click on the link to the Creative Connections website HERE. Then it's just a matter of clicking on the blue CRAFTfest icon for the section you'd like to view, and all the stalls are accessible from there.

Happy browsing (and hopefully shopping!)

It's May and the sun is shining!

Wow what a change in the weather today. For the past few days it's been miserable, cold and raining, today has been so very welcome with it's warm sunny spring weather!
On a personal note, I've been experimenting with freemotion embroidery and my badge making machine. So far I've had really good results and now I just need more hours in the day and lots of new designs to embroider. I'll be giving you a sneak peek in my next post.

Now, it's on to the Etsy 'Craft Britannia shop of the week' spot.

This week I'm featuring Joy of Cutey Critters. She makes lovable knitted and sewn collector animals, artist bears, rag dolls, quilts, blankets and pillows.

Her artist bears are adorable and if you're after a traditional looking bear that's got a more modern twist then please visit her Etsy shop by clicking the link here

I love this little guy, he's looks like he's ready to take home and cuddle!

And this one of a kind panda, called Kiki is adorable!

                                                   "Oh hai there"

Joy also makes lovely crochet items like this blanket, which is both practical and lovely to look at. I'm a big fan of the granny square blanket!

Among the other items Joy makes, are traditional style rag dolls, which I can imagine being loved by any girl (little or not so little).

Wouldn't she look sweet, sitting at the end of your bed?

Well, that's all for the moment. More shop of the week and personal crafty stuff coming soon!

It's that shop of the week time again.

And this week it's Bex' turn from Rebecca's Emporium. You can click here  for a peek at her Etsy shop.

Bex is of course another member of the Craft Britannia Etsy team and she makes one of a kind fabric and felted sculptures. Her Etsy shop is filled with beautiful felted jewellery and little creatures like the ones shown below.

                           Felted mushroom rings

And I love this little cute bear brooch!

Along with her other felted treats, Bex makes  unique felted creatures called Pheeples, they're  one of a kind and really adorable.
I'd love to see how someone could make an animation based on her little creations.

This little one's in disguise! A cute blue felt Pheeple

I think this little one is a bit shy!

A cute smiley purple and white Pheeple.

This is what Bex has to say about her Pheeples:

"You might've seen a Pheeple recently; They use to hide all over the place, being scared of humans. But recently, they've started scuttering out from behind sofas, peering out from the bookcase and sneaking out from under the fridge.
Pheeples are curiously inquisitive, and just like to watch us going about our lives and some of them have become quite friendly with us humans and have made lots of new friends in the process.
Some try to be scary, using fake fangs and other bits and bobs but they just wind up looking adorable! (but be sure to pretend to be scared or they get upset!)
Others find every little thing we do hilarious, and can be found rolling around on their bums and doing high pitched belly laughs on desks all over the country.

And some are just happy to quietly sit and observe us going about our days, taking in the new giant world around them."

You can also find Bex on her blog here.
